i used to think of myself as someone who has had to go against my nature in order to survive my environment. sometimes hurting others who maybe didn't deserve it, even though they likely did.

some experiences are very difficult to metaphorize in a way that makes sense to other people without breaching my own comfort or boundaries. this is one of those things. it might not resonate with you, but at the end of the day, it's my responsibility as an artist to show you how it looks like for me.

i'm very interested in the way many different things have repeated logic to them. who is to blame when we change? how much autonomy do we have over the people we show up into the world as? whatever your answers are, i don't think i want to hear it.
